TrialnError [1] filed a deletion request for virtboard-git [2]: Same story as with virtboard: This project seems to be replaced by upstream. No relevant commit in years and the latest release was four years ago. The project description itself contains the remark "Sacrificial". Searching for virtual keyboard librem 5 brings up a page that indicates, that squeekboard is being used.[1] The AUR PKBUILD is unmaintained and the comments on the page indicate that it cannot be build successfully. xiota [1] filed a deletion request for hal-git [2]: Package should be deleted because maintainer MIA, package is unbuildable, and name is confusing. Package can be recreated with a different name when build issues are fixed upstream. Maintainer has not responded to comments since May 2023. At the time, he indicated lack of time/interest to work on package and willingness transfer maintainership to someone else. Package name is confusing. `aur/hal` is a hardware abstraction layer. `aur/hal-git` is a hardware analyzer. Package has been unbuildable since May 2024, requiring upstream and packaging changes. There is a pending upstream PR. After the PR is merged, I plan to recreate this package with a different name.
