Upstream seems to be very quick in releasing important patches for their stable line, in the form of minor point version bumps. The last stable release, v2.2.4 is from October 2023, and is therefore 1 year newer than the last prerelease commit. Upstream seems to no longer create prerelease tags. People who wish to test-drive the latest development code should install msquic-git.
