      MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for jre16 [2]:

Cleanup of JDK/JRE 16 non-LTS, short-term support packages.

Oracle JDK 16 is EOL since October 2021;
extended/paid support for updates/fixes not available.

Users should migrate to a newer JDK/JRE.
