But nevertheless, this package is based on a source code of a project, that once started as replacement of an official package of that time, but it was eventually deprecated as a dead end, which may be seen by this commit[0]. So it's now actually older than official `proton-cli` package, `-ng` suffix in naming is wrong now 


I suggest you to submit this package with a different name, e.g. `protonvpn-cli-community` and re-request a merger, but against that package. This will allow avoiding wrong naming here.

Thanks for the request! Actually, the two packages are distinct. 
protonvpn-cli-ng is community-maintained and is an older package that
some still use as their preferred client. While I recommend that
everyone does start using the new protonvpn-cli, they are not the same
package.
