All of these were maintained (or atleast have a maintainer assigned), so I really think we are looking at different data.
I think the other mail was quite clear on that: There will be no future mass cleanups withouth first being (properly) coordinated among the other AUR Moderators.
Hi @gromit, Thank you for your response / inquiry. The add-on request I made in a reply email is no longer relevant. @serebit's old orphan package purge done in Feb 2024 has taken care of dropping all abandoned 'perl6-*' prefixed packages. Thank you, @serebit! Cheers, Marcell / MarsSeed On 7 March 2024 16:22:13 GMT+01:00, Christian Heusel <christian@heusel.eu> wrote:

Hi @serebit,
Hey Marcell,
Can you maybe delete *all* packages prefixed with 'perl6-'?
A [quick search][0] on the AUR for me only found 6 packages: - perl6-panda - perl-perl6-perldoc-to-ansi - perl-perl6-perldoc - perl-perl6-form - perl-perl6-export - perl-perl6-doc
The majority of them have packaging issues, all of them are orphans (most are from 2017/2018, some I updated last year but then gave up), and actually Perl6 became Raku since that submission year. None of the perl6 package are in use on AUR. (Many are broken as well, several are also deprecated / abandoned by their respective upstream on favor of a different implementation.)
All of these were maintained (or atleast have a maintainer assigned), so I really think we are looking at different data.
Thank you for considering my proposal, and if you can and do take this up.
