Eschwartz [1] filed a deletion request for firefox-dev [2]: Frivolous duplicate of firefox-developer (or possibly firefox-aurora, since all three seem to be essentially the same, but the other two maintainers need to figure things out). This package, on the other hand, was initially uploaded a couple days ago with the (pinned) comment: "In case you're wondering why this is a clone of `firefox-developer`: this is auto-updated every hour, without user intervention (and has sha512 hashes!). Check out the script at https://github.com/denysvitali/aur-firefox-dev-automaintainer" In what world is uploading identical packages under different names, to fix checksum issues and pkgver update frequency, okay? @denvit, if you don't like the way a package is being maintained, the appropriate response is to discuss it with the maintainers, not to upload a *third* version of the exact same package under a misleading name. Stop spamming the AUR. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Eschwartz/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/firefox-dev/
