Anyway, you'd only need to bump the pkgrel and sync the .SRCINFO with the PKGBUILD, i.e. `makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO`.

The only comment is for problems with a helper doing stupid things. That's not a packaging problem. Sure, the .SRCINFO should be updated, but failing to build because of that is pretty dumb.
