Request #43163 has been Rejected by MarsSeed [1]: Revoking the request, please kindly disregard. Maintainer @Arvedui explained that this package is still useful as python2-taskw needs it. People might still have personal, local (Python2) scripts for task definitions. Custom-scripting is a prime use case of taskwarrior and its Python bindings.
