MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge papermerge [2] into papermerge- core [3]: The 'papermerge' package from 2020 have become obsoleted by upstream's complete overhaul of its application and repository structure. Now it is based on a split client-server architecture, and 'papermerge-core' is the server component. There are multiple client applications, using different runtimes like Node.js, Python etc., but all of them are under separate, specific names, so the package name 'papermerge' no longer corresponds to any of them. I propose this AUR merge to 1) eliminate the now long-defunct 'papermerge' pkg, 2) to keep the pre-existing comments, 3) and to transfer user notification subscriptions to 'papermerge- core', so that interested parties can stay informed about this application.
