MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gnome-encfs-hg [2]: Project has recently been marked by developer as unmaintained. Main development has ceased 7 years ago. AUR package has not been updated since 2015. Source link is dead since 2019, but no one updated it. Depends on obsolete Python 2. It's not reliable to use outdated encryption tools. This is not a GNOME project anyway, was only an integration solution to automount EncFS folders that are encrypted using a password that is different than the user's login password. Such encrypted folders are still recoverable with EncFS, this obsolete tool is not required for that. It's unbuildable because of deleted Python2-based dependencies. Safe to delete, no impact, nothing relies on it on AUR. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/MarsSeed/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/gnome-encfs-hg/
