MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for virtualdub [2]:

Orphaned package. Freeware Windows video editor application last
updated in 2014. Package links to 32-bit binary. There are no user
comments. I suggest this package can be deleted, no impact, nothing
depends on it.

There is a Linux-native clone which is provides the same baseline
features and is continually being developed and improved:

And of course there are several high quality alternatives for Linux
now, both for casual video editing (Shotcut, Openshot, Pitivi,
