You could have posted a comment, or even flagged. Based on date of most recent comment and commit, the maintainer is receiving and responding to notifications. The build is currently failing, and while the maintainer is active, I couldn't send my fixed PKGBUILD and patches via email due to a server issue on their end. I am submitting this request in hopes that the notification from `aur-requests@lists.archlinux.org` will reach them. If not, I am also available to maintain the package.
