MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for perl-checkupdates-aur [2]: This script from 2016 relies on Perl bindings for AURweb that have been abandoned since same year and are broken now. There's a functionally equivalent minimal wrapper script that uses up- to-date helper tools: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/checkupdates-with-aur It's best to delete this defunct package.
