MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for wine-mono-gecko-version-fix [2]: Incompatible with current Wine, Gecko, Mono. Upstream URL is also down. No response from maintainer to submitted issues since 18 Feb 2021. Package last updated on 2020-11-24. It is not clear what this package is supposed to do. I've asked the maintainer to clarify it but I got no response. It was supposed to fix some popup issue with Wine that relates to Wine Gecko and Wine Mono. But I've never experienced such issues since I started actively using Wine in 2020 and I always have Wine Gecko and Wine Mono installed. Package was reported to conflict with wine-mono package on 18 Feb 2021, more than a year ago: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wine-mono-gecko-version- fix#comment-792337 Maintainer hasn't responded. I'd say it's safe to delete this package because it seems to have been created in 2020 to solve a problem that doesn't exist anymore, and instead this package just creates problems of its own. Also, if there is ever any packaging issue with Arch wine or wine-* packages, those should be addressed on the Arch bug tracking system, not by creating (and then not maintaining) some custom Pacman hooks on AUR.
