Hello, I am aware that the package is outdated, I have put a note in the comment section that I have been busy and I will get around to updating the package. Please bare in mind that people sometimes have to take a few weeks out for personal reasons, this is not being inactive and I am still around to respond to concerns. As for the PR you submitted, this was done 3 minutes before you filed a orphan request. I have yet to respond because I was out drinking with my family because I am a human being, not a robot who responds to PR's within 3 minutes of them being submitted. For future reference please leave time for responses from the maintainer before you file an orphan request against them. Furthermore I would like to point out that it takes 30 seconds (at most) to bump the package version and update the checksums, that is not what takes time, what does is the following: - Building in a clean chroot to ensure it builds correctly - Testing the client to ensure it still works in the current build configuration. - Checking for new dependencies (especially when it is a major version bump) - Checking that the licensing has not changed, which is an important change to check for. Maybe, instead of submitting a PR which would have taken 1 minute, you could have shown the package built correctly in a clean chroot, and have checked the above. That is a lot more useful :) I will complete the following tasks when I have time, I also have realised I forgot to merge a PR from a few months ago which rewrote portions of the package, this I will do as well.
