jamespharvey20 [1] filed a deletion request for libipathverbs [2]: Same reason as earlier libibscif deletion request. Upstream totally changed libibscif's dependencies (merging libibverbs into rdma-core, then subsequent changes within rdma-core) and completely broke libibscif. Asked upstream: "Is libibscif dead, and should OS repositories remove it?" Answer 2: "Yes... Out of tree providers are not supported by rdma- core. All providers must be in-tree." Like libibscif, libipathverbs is an out of tree provider. If anyone needs this anymore, they'll need to plead with the rdma-core maintainers and/or Intel to work on it.
