MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python-picklable-itertools- git [2]: 7 years old unmaintained lowlevel function library based on the "ancient" Python 2.7 and 3.4. It aimed to be a reimplementation of basic Python iterator/serializer functions but I doubt it would be a good idea to use this now, as Python has been developed much further since, with lots of breaking changes. Also Arch community/python-dill library has been around since the same time but it has been kept up- to-date to this day, providing similar extended functionality as was intended by the picklable-itertools project. Safe to delete as nothing in AUR depends on this package. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/MarsSeed/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/python-picklable-itertools-git/
