Maintainer posted in the aur webpage that he is on border zone helping refugees, that he has no access to aur keys for updating, that he have no time to update, and to expect no updates until he is out of this situation. In my humble opinion, the maintainer should drop the package in such circumstance, instead of blocking other people from improving and updating it. Package is marked out-of-date for more than 3 months. It needs improvements, as a better packaging for not conflicting with repository opencv, and also cleanups and other general improvements.
