But instead of calling for a fix, I recommend deletion, on the basis that upstream does not create development snapshot/alpha/beta/nightly etc. releases, only stable ones.
AUR has both an up-to-date i2p and i2p-bin package, whereas this one is several releases behind.

The package got updated once, in November 2023, to a stable release, but since December, it is again behind AUR/i2p. Upstream still does not publish dev releases, so it is still pointless to keep this build.
