Hello, I want to highlight that you do not submit orphan request and then ask a TU to maintain it. You need to contact the owner of the package, if they dont respond a TU will orphan the package, then find someone who will maintain the package. The issue is, this is a git package, you dont bump the version unless it needs new dependencies or installation method, thus you need to just clone and rebuild it when you want to update (it will pull latest master) Take a look at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/finalcut for versioned builds.
