MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gpxviewer-git [2]: Unmaintained. Fails to build. Also this is not actually for 'gpxviewer', which is a Python application. Instead, this is Dave Davenport's 'gpx-viewer', based on Vala and C. Arch extra repo carries the latest stable release of gpx-viewer.
