MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for dr14_tmeter [2]: Upstream hasn't released a stable tag/tarball since 2015-01 (9.5 years ago). [a] But there's been continued development in the project's GitHub repo [b], where they migrated their code from SourceForge. Last tarball release is v1.0.16 from 2015, whereas the GitHub code's internal version is v2.0.0. And setup.py metadata classifies the 'Development Status' for that version as 'Stable'. The last commit as of now on the master branch is from October 2022. [b] There's a git package for that code on AUR. [c] I guess this is one of those projects which stopped releasing specific versions and only deliver their application as a rolling VCS code. Better to delete this fixed-version package that has essentially been obsoleted and abandoned by upstream. Note; the git package might need some fixes, but it's still in a much better shape than this one. Also, upstream might also have some unresolved issues; users mention a more actively developed alternative for same/similar use case: ebumeter, available in [extra] repo.
