Icecat, being FSF endorsed, should really be a standard package available to all ArchLinux users as it is privacy oriented and has overlap in interests of general ArchLinux users. Currently, the standard firefox browser is only available where as Icecat should really take that precedence , it's also not that difficult to maintain.
Reading the AUR page comments I'm confused why a request was made to orphan this package (and thereby remove it from its current maintainer)? An orphan request is not how to "request to TU community to move this package to community repo". J
