MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for visit-build [2]: Broken, unused package from 2020. OOD flag ignored since 2021. Last comment is from 2017. Upstream is continually developed, so abandoning it on AUR doesn't seem to be because of obsolescence, rather, just lack of interest here. Actually upstream publishes an easy-to-use, well-documented build script which helps users in acquiring the sources and building it for installation inside their user's directory. (There are also upstream binary releases, and an installation script to facilitate downloading and installing that one inside user's home.) PKGBUILD is problematic for an Arch/AUR package: does not declare sources, just lets upstream's install script fetch sources via wget. People who want to use this application better stick to using upstream's supported build or binary installation methods. (It doesn't need to exist inside system dirs to work.)
