@ewolnux
I am running Arch-based ApricityOs (www.apricity.com) and I have a Brother multifunctional usb DCP-7060D printer/scanner. In a terminal window I installed the above package (yaourt brother-dcp7060d). Unfortunately, this is not a happy story.
a) In Settings/Printers/, Print Test Page does not work and when clicking the 'Show Jobs' button a window pops up showing a 'No Active Printer Jobs' message.
b) Launched LibreOffice Writer, opened a document, in the 'Print Preview' window clicking the Print icon made the 'Print Options' window pop up. In the 'Print Options' window, under the General Tab, I clicked the 'Properties' button which made the Properties window to display. In the 'Properties' window, under the Paper tab, are listed the following items: Paper size, Orientation, Duplex, Paper tray. Paper size and Orientation have default values that cannot be changed; Duplex and Paper tray have no default values at all (empty). These 4 items also have an unresponsive arrowhead pointing downward making it impossible to select other values than the default ones.
c) In /usr/share/brother/Printer/DCP7060D/ folder... I see only the lpd and cupswarpper drivers. There are not scanner drivers.
d) In /usr/shere/brother/Printer/DCP7060D/inf/ folder... again no scanner file.
I have been trying for more than a week to find a solution without success. Thanks for considering the above.

None of this sounds like a reason to delete this from the AUR, especially when you're not even running Arch.
