I don't know about mp3blaster. It's sobsolate, and I don't use it personally.

But about libsidplay -- Are there other libs to play SID files? And it is depndency of audacious2-plugins [1]

I'd say leave alone libsidplay. And this aur package is building. Why did you say it's not building? If it fails to build -- I can try fixing it. It builds on my machine.

Not beneficial to keep this package. It's upstream is not maintained
since 2017, and its dependency libsidplay from 2004 fails to build.

There are other console-based audio players that users can choose.
