MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gsfonts-cyr [2]: Abandoned, outdated problematic variant package from 2016. The included fontconfigs might have been legit (for fallback mapping), but this PKGBUILD does not actually build the OTF fonts that extra repo's gsfonts offers. Instead, it keeps the raw .afm and .pfb source files from upstream, and just packages those. I think most consumer applications don't understand this format.
