MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for digikam-without-akonadi- mediawiki-vkontakte [2]: This package is broken as of now, and its name doesn't make sense, because repo's digikam also doesn't have mediawiki and vkontakte support. Akonadi could be made optional in extra/digikam IMHO, because a photo viewer/manager/postprocessor app should not mandate KDE's own PIM tools, or any Calendar/Contact/Email/Tasks management framework whatsoever. So I think it is better to delete this package and maybe submit a feature request in Arch bug tracking system to make Akonadi optional.
