Request #18730 has been accepted by diabonas [1]: After the recent upstream changes, it seems as if the purpose of this package is better achieved by adding the ENABLE_SYSTEMD flag to the existing brightnessctl-git package. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/diabonas/
