MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for git-etc [2]: Unused Python2 package from 2017. Does not follow Arch Python package guidelines and PyPA guidelines, e.g. doesn't use setuptools, even though they call for such instead of relying stdlib's distutils. Also this is dependent on systemd, but it's not declared in PKGBUILD. I recommend deletion. There are working alternatives to "monitor changes in files".
