[PRQ#67126] Deletion Request for lze-web
MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for lze-web [2]: Suspicious / unknown content personal VCS package of submitter; no documentation, no upstream readme. [a] Clones the Git repo inside the PKGBUILD package() function; no pkgver() function exists. Uses "cp -r" to copy the cloned content inside /opt, /usr (including /usr/bin/), /etc. User has already been warned by @Antiz that these practices are not allowed, see response from 3 Jun 2024 to deletion request PRQ#60684 for duplicate package wechat-arch-linux. [b] lze-web was submitted to AUR on 2024-06-11 and was last updated on 2024-10-31, so the user is in clear defiance with the rules. Request #67126 has been Accepted by Antiz [1]: Indeed, personal package, really poor and suspicious packaging methods (git cloning in package(), running unexpected / suspicious commands in a .install script, etc...), missing important info such as source and URL, ... @linzeen Once again, please respect Arch packaging standards as described in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD & https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_package_guidelines. Also, the AUR is not made for such personal packages. Since this is the second time you've been told that already, please take this as a formal warning. If you need advice or help, please ask for it in the AUR General Mailing list [1] or in the #archlinux-aur IRC channel [2].
