MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge chirp-hg-py3 [2] into chirp-hg [3]: Source package is defunct and abandoned, and has a wrong name. The py3 branch is 7 months old and discontinued, because it has been upstreamed to master branch. The code has also been migrated to a Git repo on GitHub, but I think it is better to first merge the unneeded chirp-hg-py3 to chirp-hg, and then do the transition from -hg to -git package.
