[PRQ#42728] Deletion Request for libre-menu-editor
LibreMenuEditor [1] filed a deletion request for libre-menu-editor [2]: I have made improvements to the code, moved to a new hosting service and submitted my package to flathub. But I would also like to put the new version into the AUR again. Problem is: I didnt know how git works when I made commits to this pkgbase last year. I made many garbage commits, just to see what happens. This still really bothers me. Please, please remove the entire thing (pkgbase and all commits), so I can start from zero and do it properly this time. I assume that this should not be a problem, since I am the only submitter. Request #42728 has been Rejected by alerque [1]: Even if I approved this request and deleted the package from the AUR, the Git history would still be restored if somebody (you or otherwise) tried to post something under the same name in the future. The way you need to deal with this is adopt this package, then clone the repository for it, then completely replace the files with the new ones the way they should be for packaging the current upstream project, then commit and push that commit.
