I'm the maintainer, and I don't understand what the problem is.I was busy in the two weeks since my past comment, which I just fixed. Up until that point, the package hasn't needed an update, since Avogadro 1.x hasn't seen a release since 2016. Please send a poke in the comments before an orphan request. Request #12629 has been rejected by eschwartz [1]: Don't be ridiculous, someone *else* left one comment 2 weeks ago and the maintainer agreed to investigate the issue. That's plainly the opposite of "not supported by any maintainer for 1.5 years". If you're going to submit an orphan request after two weeks of waiting, at least do so with a reasonable argument.
