[aur-requests] [PRQ#171] Deletion Request for ucspi-ipc
stevenhoneyman [1] filed a deletion request for ucspi-ipc [2]: not updated since 2007(!) Out of date, 0.70 is current version. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/stevenhoneyman/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/ucspi-ipc/
9 requests in <5 minutes. This qualifies as spam, also it seems most of them are from a user "bougyman"... Please suspend this account. On Thu, Jul 10, 2014 at 11:15 AM, <notify@aur.archlinux.org> wrote:

Request #171 has been rejected by Barthalion [1]: I'll reply to all of your requests (163-171) here, because they share the same flaw. First, you haven't bothered to contact the maintainer, who seems to be an active, despite many flagged packages. Second, deletion requests doesn't really apply for more or less active but still working software. PKGBUILDs needs more love, but with small fixes are still able to build older and newer releases. Third, for some reason you decided to focus only bougyman's packages. Making 9 requests in less than 5 minutes really looks like a personal crusade and an attempt to hijack packages.
