[aur-requests] [PRQ#13786] Orphan Request for kicad-git
GPereira [1] filed a orphan request for kicad-git [2]: Only when I filled the request :| Maintainer was quick to upload the change that I was requesting when he felt threatned to orphan the package... I think this is a bad way of doing things so I would like to ask you if you could orphan the package nonetheless. You gave them less than one day and badgered them constantly. Your behavior on the package page is ridiculous and this should be dismissed without any further consideration.
I don't think the response I received from the mantainer was productive that's it. On 12/01/19 20:46, Doug Newgard wrote:

Resubmitting an Orphan request in spite is also not productive. This isn't the first time you have done this, and you have been warned in the past[1]. So give me one good reason for not suspending your account right now. [1]: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-requests/2018-February/022348.html -- Morten Linderud PGP: 9C02FF419FECBE16

Correction, he's been suspended for it before: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-requests/2018-March/023217.html I'm 100% positive it is now time to permanently evict him from our community. -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User

Words are bloat and phrasing sucks. :p The community I am discussing is specifically in the context of AUR users, packagers and maintainers. -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
