MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for libvpx-1.7 [2]: Long abandoned. Fails to build from source. Nothing requires this legacy version from 2019. It conflicts with repo's libvpx and therefore transitively with gstreamer, ffmpeg, vlc, mpv, firefox. So this would not be usable on a desktop system that has any of those packages installed.
