zedspeirs [1] filed a request to merge opera-gx-stable-ffmpeg-codecs- bin [2] into opera-gx-bin [3]: I would like to request a merge of the packages related to Opera GX. The packages opera-gx-stable and opera-gx-stable-ffmpeg-codecs-bin are currently broken and cannot be installed or built properly. Additionally, they have not been maintained or updated for a while. In contrast, my package opera-gx-bin is actively maintained, up-to- date, and fully functional. It installs correctly and reflects the current upstream version, including updated legal files and checksums. Given the current state of the other packages, I believe it would be beneficial for users to consolidate into a single, working package. Therefore, I kindly request merging the broken packages into opera-gx- bin so that users are directed to a maintained and functional solution. Thank you for your consideration.
