MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gitetc [2]: Abandoned package from 2016, upstream not developed since that year. It is not only badly packaged, missing several runtime dependencies, but also the source scripts are potentially dangerous: They invoke pacman (undeclared dependency) with sudo (undeclared dependency), and supress the CLI error output while executing commands with sudo. Also those scripts are very amateurish and rudimentary. They run git commands the most basic way. Many such commands are meant for interactive use, not scripting. And there is absolutely zero error / exception handling in those scripts, so they won't be able to react to any unexpected git output or error condition. I recommend deletion.
