Yes, but rather minizip-git is _not_ the latest git-checkoout of minizip, but a specific, fixed version. Furthermore, minizip version 2 is not a drop-in replacement of minizip, that's why renamed to minizip2. Greetings!

That's a bug in the package and should be fixed, then. -git should point at HEAD
Furthermore, minizip version 2 is not a drop-in replacement of minizip, that's why renamed to minizip2.
Upstream is called minizip, so that's what the package is gonna be called. It's not the packagers call to make. If any backwards compat breaks, make a minizip1 package instead. The latest release gets an unversioned name, that's it.
