MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for libsynaptics [2]: Broken, discontinued, unused legacy Synaptics driver from 2007. Cannot be built due to missing dependency. Safe to delete: nothing depends on it. Nowadays, libinput handles even Synaptics touchpads well, but extra repo also carries the xf86-input-synaptics driver for legacy devices.
