[PRQ#42229] Orphan Request for flutter
PolarianDev [1] filed an orphan request for flutter [2]: On 2023/06/05 I have emailed the maintainers of the package, and cc'd in gromit to the issue. The email suggested improvements to the package, due to numerous issues with flutter being broken, I had put a lot of research into it to try to find work arounds. They have not replied to this email. The package has been flagged out of date since 2023/06/07, however I am aware this is not a long period of time. Due to flutter not allowing outdated versions to function even with the --no-version-check flag, this package being slow to update has prevent any flutter package from being built on the AUR, I am yet to find a work around. I request to be able to take on the responsiblity of fixing said package, hopefully gromit will also help out as they are the author to the following draft: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/User:Gromit/Flutter_package_guidelines I would gladly give ownership back over to the current flutter maintainers if they want it back, but as the package is vital for the development of flutter guidelines and also the fact it breaks all flutter packages currently, I request an allowance to be able to patch this package with the bug fixes, and to be able to bump the version. Thank you, Polarian [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/PolarianDev/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/flutter/
