handlerug [1] filed a deletion request for mycorrhiza-bin [2]: This package hasn't been updated in a year, and is also not used by its maintainer. It's also quite useless because there's the mycorrhiza package. The only difference is that this package downloads pre-built binaries from GitHub, which is not an improvement at all. Even if that sounds like an improvement to you, the releases on GitHub often miss the pre-built binaries because of issues with builders, which render this package completely useless. The mycorrhiza package builds the program properly, using the original source code (which is always available), is well-maintained and updated timely. This package is redundant and abandoned; my request is for this package (mycorrhiza- bin) to be deleted in favor of the mycorrhiza package.
