[PRQ#48362] Deletion Request for qemu-full-aarch64-git
MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for qemu-full-aarch64-git [2]: Unused, badly configured aarch64-only VCS package. It is not true that it creates a "full" QEMU installation - the build config is actually as barebones as it gets. It is also not true that this enables the KVM feature as mentioned in pkgdesc. It also does not use the modern meson/ninja build system preferred by upstream. (As of now, the KVM feature can only be turned on or off via meson.) Dependencies, too, are not proper, i.e. it depends on the legacy vte instead of vte3 or vte4. This is also a monopackage instead of having many split packages like repo's qemu. There is also no pkgver() function and no declared provides and conflicts arrays as mandated by VCS package guidelines. Better to delete this. One could ask the maintainer of AUR/qemu-git to add aarch64 architecture support. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/MarsSeed/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/qemu-full-aarch64-git/
