MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge msquic-release-git [2] into msquic-git [3]: I think it's not really useful to keep a "release" branch VCS package, since almost all of the time, its source is the same as the last release tag. Upstream seems to be very quick in releasing important patches for their stable line, in the form of minor point version bumps.
