[aur-requests] [PRQ#23238] Deletion Request for ananicy-nosystemd-git
linuxergr [1] filed a deletion request for ananicy-nosystemd-git [2]: The packager keeps on not following the proper sources pulling of ananicy-nosystemd, although has been notified thoroughly. ananicy-nosystemd is a fork of Artix Linux, so it should be pulled from there. What? Artix doesn't matter for the AUR. But if this "-nosystemd" stuff introduces drama to the AUR from the Artix community I'll just remove all of it. Nobody uses this. -- Morten Linderud PGP: 9C02FF419FECBE16

The main drama IMO is that this is basically a duplicate of ananicy-git except it removes the depends+=('systemd'). But I don't quite understand why such a depends existed in the main package... the program does not depend on systemd, it just includes a systemd service... -- Eli Schwartz Bug Wrangler and Trusted User
Request #23238 has been rejected by Foxboron [1]: Artix doesn't matter for the AUR. The upstream is correct, anything else is a fork and Artix can do all they want there. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Foxboron/
