+1 for deletion I had a look at this package some time ago since I maintain dia-git. As you can see by my comments, it requires some effort to fix it which I do not believe it's worth it. And given the rolling nature of arch, it will just become more difficult over time. The upstream git repo is active, but it doesn't look there will be a release any time soon. Other distros (but not all) have moved away from the stable release and use pinned commits instead, most notably, Debian. IMHO, it doesn't make sense to keep this in a broken state, and let's not forget that this package can be easily revived if a new release appears. The VCS package is mostly stable, and it looks to me it's what upstream supports. -- a821
