MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for mate-user-share-gtk2 [2]: Defunct, unneeded legacy package from 2017. Not installable on current MATE Desktop. And many other Gtk2 based MATE components from same year are broken and pending deletion. Extra repo carries the current, working version of mate-user-share.
