Request #20470 has been accepted by eschwartz [1]: The interactive element is limited asking if cases where check() has failed, should ignore the failure and succeed anyway. Though it's still not ideal... Anyway it's been abandoned by the maintainer in favor of the stable version now in community due to reluctance to deal with haskell and the fact that -git packages are generally less compelling.
