[PRQ#79895] Orphan Request for r-fansi
christoslongros [1] filed an orphan request for r-fansi [2]: Maintainer has publicly stated they are leaving AUR in favor of their own repository (see comments), the binary repo has since been deleted (was scheduled for deletion 01.01.2025), and the GitHub (dvdesolve/ArchRPkgs) was archived March 2024. Package is currently broken (404). Requesting orphan status so I can adopt and fix. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/christoslongros/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/r-fansi/

The maintainer that you mention is not the developer(s), so the deletion reason does not apply. Upstream is active AFAICS. Also, there are downstream packages that will break. The package is flagged for about six weeks, so consider submitting an orphan request. Please close this request here: https://aur.archlinux.org/requests -- a821

Facepalm! I just noticed that this is indeed an *ophan* request and not deletion. Please ignore the noise :-)
